The small community or social network may be connected within a physical community or through a virtual environment. Sustainable practices within this community address all aspects of the human condition throughout the life cycle. The emphasis is on the collective participation of individuals possessing skills and talents such as (but not limited to) advocates, crafts persons, counselors, scientists, artists, musicians, healers, farmers, poets, laborers, and professionals.
