To develop an economic system of Trade based primarily on sharing and bartering products and services within the community, and secondarily, outside communities or social networks to provide income and additional resources for the benefit of the community members. The goal is to develop the community as a self-sustaining unit within a larger community, or otherwise connected to but outside the larger community. The ultimate goal is to minimize or eliminate the reliance on predatory commercial interests and to redefine the concept of “wealth” as a cooperative/collective/community resource to support the public’s health, welfare, comfort, security, pursuit of happiness, and survival in harmony with its environment. The goal for such trade is to facilitate the development of communal “property rights” for the benefit of the community’s resiliency, adaptability and sustainability.
